Benefits for Peterborough
Encouraging a confident, articulate and community engaged generation of children and young people
Young Ambassadors able to raise the profile of the city regionally, nationally and potentially internationally
‘Media savvy’ young people able to present well across all media forms
PHACE will encourage our young people to collaborate with cultural providers, so that over time they directly influence what is programmed and provided across the city.
PHACE will strive not to replicate or duplicate provision and by better engagement with children and young people increase the impact of the current cultural investment.
The city has one of the youngest populations in the country with more than 30% under 25 and yet that is not often reflected in attendance at cultural events? We hope to address this with better engagement and direct contact with young people now.

Providing a readily available pool of young people for focus groups / sounding board/ consultation.

Positive role models for other young people.
