EvenYouSong

Local schools have been invited to take part in this exciting project, with a premiere performance in February 2017 at Peterborough Cathedral.

EvenYouSong is a new composition to the format of Evensong for Peterborough Cathedral, with original libretto and films based on interviews with Peterborough couples contemplating an extended mission to the moon. This cross-art project by artist Bettina Furnée and writer Lucy Sheerman is developed during a ACE funded research period. Commissioned composer Cheryl Frances-Hoad to write a 50-minute composition, performed at Peterborough Cathedral in February 2017 by Steven Grahl with the cathedral choir, community choir and organist, staged with projections, booklets and simple costumes with workshops, taster performances and professional CD.
